Process for Change/ Update Address and Other Details
- In this form, you must fill in the information in the case of the original applicant. Provide proof of a change in address or any other details.

If the applicants don't have proof of a change of address, the applicant can sign the application to the next persons

UIDAI permits holders of Aadhaar cardsto change their address without needing documentation. Aadhaar cardholders have the right to change their address, if they had not presented identification proof.
New Delhi: The Unique Identification Authority of India has temporarily stopped an important feature that lets you change the address of your Aadhaar card's address with no certificate of address.
UIDAI lets holders of Aadhaar cards to change their address with no need for any documents. Aadhaar cardholders can change their address, as long as they accept the authenticity and verification process of an address verifier. An address verifier could be a relative, friend, landlord or family member that will allow the Aadhaar card owner to utilize their address as proof.
UIDAI has now halted this facility. UIDAI responds to an Aadhaar Card holder by tweeting that it is no longer possible to update the address on Aadhaar Card through the Address Validation Letter has been removed. UIDAI has requested to the Aadhaar provider to alert the user of the possibility to update their address using a authentic PoA document.

UIDAI gives the following document to be POA documents (Proof of Address) documents that contain the name and address for Aadhaar cards
Passport
Statement/Passbook for Post Office Accounts
Driving license
Water Bill (not older that 3 months)
Telephone Landline Bill (not older that 3 months)
Check your Credit Card Balance (not older than 3 months).
Signature letter and photo from registered company on letterhead
Pensioner Card
Freedom Fighter Card
Kissan Passbook
Passport of Spouse
Passport of parents (in the event of minors)
Central/ State Govt. The government issued an allotment request for accommodation. (Not any longer than 3 years)
Bhamashah/Jan Aadhaar card issued Governmentt. Rajasthan
Certificate issued by the Superintendentor WardenMatron/ Head Of Institution of a shelter that is recognized orphanages, etc. on UIDAI standard certificate format for enrolment/ update
